I was a pioneer in measuring online media performance in Brazil, and I developed several online performance methodologies that changed the way online marketing is done in the country. An entrepreneurial spirit and the drive to find new paths to innovation and to influence the world around me sparked the beginning of my career and many business opportunities that came my way later. As Co-founder and CAIO (Chief AI Officer) of Celcoin, I am a versatile and passionate marketing executive. Based in São Paulo, Brazil, I have more than two decades of experience in online marketing and internet business. My education includes an MBA in Retail Business Administration from FIA, a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Instituto Belas Artes, and Practitioner certification in Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP). Before co-founding Celcoin, I spent 14 years at Catho Online as CMO and B2C Director. During my time at Catho, I led the company to record-breaking success, directly managing 350 professionals on my teams. In recognition of this achievement, during my time in management Catho received six Top of the Mind awards from 2006 to 2012 and three Ibest awards, in 2002 and 2004. These awards were the result of a commitment to creating an exceptional and innovative workplace. My professional experience also includes leading several departments at Oppa, a designer furniture company, where I served as Marketing Director and also as CTO, holding both roles at once. They say the marketing professional of the future will also take on the Information Technology role, something that has always made complete sense to me. Simply put, my vision and goal are to create continuous, positive change in marketing in Brazil, using every tool available, ideally ones built in-house. There’s nothing better than “owning” your data, your analyses, and your processes.
