The third episode of the cel_agents podcast is out. In it I talk again with Rafael Zigart, Head of AI Product at Celcoin, about a dynamic anyone who works in technology knows well: Product imagines an experience, Design turns that idea into a journey, and Engineering has to make it all real. The three worlds work together, but they do not always move at the same speed.

Zigart started with a point I have experienced for years at Celcoin. The raw material of a financial product is technical. The product manager understands how the product will work, the designer takes care of the experience and the screens, and the engineer needs to understand how to build it. The gap shows up when the prototype and the documentation are handed off for development. A sequence of translations between teams begins, the adjustments go back and forth, and that is where things get lost. Add to that the regulatory layer, which is mandatory: the product has to comply with every rule from the start.
In cel_agents, the product and design team goes into the studio, where Celcoin’s solutions portfolio lives, and chooses the journey they want to build. In the episode we used an ITP payment journey with no redirect as the example. As soon as the journey is defined, the wireframe and the interface already appear, with experience best practices and the scenarios that cover Central Bank rules. If someone wants to change a path, they leave a comment right there, inside the journey context. Because the studio and MCP are connected, what is done in the studio shows up in development, and everything moves very fast.
One thing Zigart made a point of reinforcing: each person’s role stays the same. Product manager, product designer, and engineer remain in their own context, each with their own craft. The time spent designing an interface from scratch and doing back-and-forth technical alignment drops sharply.
I asked him what these teams can do with the time that is left. The answer was simple: put that time where it belongs. Do discovery, understand how users are using the product, go deeper into the company’s business rules, test and validate with the customer base.
I closed the episode with my takeaway from that conversation. AI brings the teams closer and gets everyone building from the same vision, and faster.
The earlier episodes, with Rafael Zigart himself and with Gabriel Zaninotti, are on the cel_agents page here on the site. The conversation continues in the next episode.
