Hiring in the international relations sector rose 61% in January 2009 compared with the same period the previous year.
At this time of year, companies usually start their selection processes to hire new employees. Despite the current uncertainty, the drop in investments, and the financial crisis, some sectors do not seem to have felt the impact.
The survey also found that the areas that hired the most, proportionally, at the start of this year were:
- Administration (18.3%)
- Commercial / Sales (10.9%)
- Finance (5.5%)
- Customer Service / Call Center (4.3%)
- Computing / IT (4.0%)
- Human Resources (3.5%)
- Education / Teaching (2.9%)
- Logistics / Procurement (2.9%)
- Accounting (2.9%)
- Marketing (2.9%)
